The D&D boardgame minis are really a great source for HQ.
From the following list you can see how Sjeng and I came up with almost identical ideas for their use.
Mind you, I had the ideas, then Sjeng posted pictures of them without me having posted my ideas before that.
So, both him and me, indepently...

skeletons = spirit riders (I modded them to have sword and shield instead of trident and net)
goblins = I don't use them, Sjeng painted them up as ice gremlins
ogres = Sjeng uses them as rat ogres, I had the same idea initially, then I got myself real rat ogres - but I'm still undecided, because the real ones are really really... broad.
bugbears = Sjeng and I both use them as polar warbears...
wraiths = wraiths in my game (like Bru painted them up)

They look great! Simple and crisp.
Can't decide which is my favorite. They both have great working schemes.

edit: Gaaargh! Now you have rewards too? Where do they come from?!?

Excellent painting on both! I prefer the non-thundercats one but the blue one is also painted great.
The traps doors are awesome. I was thinking of building stuff to replace the various cardboard tiles, but I thought I'd start with more furniturish cardboards, like the dwarven forge.

Thundercats, while awesome, did not have a purple clad skeleton mage. They had the red clad Mumm-Ra. Shirley you think of Skeletor from He-Man. :ugeek:

(just me douche'ing it up to full volume)

Sounds about right. I was never good at remembering old cartoons. Though I did watch both of them regularly.

I hope you are not planning to turn the barbarian into He-Man... I have yet to see someone pull that off :p

I might have a punt at that if no one else has it in the pipeline?
Would hate to step on anyones toes that way.
