look forwards to seeing what else you do dude. your already way ahead of me.:)
im looking into resin casting as ive started doing a bit of sculpting here and there and ive got a beefy generic minotaur id love to have duplicates of.
any tips? ive looked on the net on how to do it. lego pieces to form the mold shape. resin and silicone molds. but have no idea what to purchase in terms of the silicone for the molds or what resin to buy. it seems pretty pricey stuff so ive held back till I have strong enough back up on what im buying.

oh and 1 night on those? the shares in coffee must have gone through the roof! :)

You want the tan (or black, apparently) resin. Do not buy the Amazing type or the White type. They are *lemony goodness* for miniatures.

Just assume that the first batch of these products that you buy will be pissed away learning how to do it all correctly. Its sad, but true. Learning from mistakes is the second best way to learn how to do things correctly (just behind taking apart a completed example--reverse engineering).

Here is Gospel for making two-part molds: http://www.hirstarts.com/moldmake/moldmaking.html#torch

EDIT: BUY NITRILE GLOVES. WEAR THEM WHEN WORKING WITH RESIN. You know what's not fun? Having your hands laminated by plastic.

Love the skulls. And the cistern. Wanna make me 3D blocked squares, too.

Use styro-foam. You can simply cut out a piece in the right shape, draw on the lines between the bricks using a ball-point pen, and then drybrush the fraggle out of them.
